Squid (Ojingeo)

Ingredients
  

  • 1 whole squid cleaned
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang Korean chili paste
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Instructions
 

  • Mix soy sauce, gochujang, sesame oil, sugar, garlic, and sesame seeds in a bowl to make the sauce.
  • Score the cleaned squid with diagonal cuts and coat with the sauce.
  • Grill or pan-fry the squid on medium heat for 3-5 minutes per side until tender.
  • Slice into rings and serve as a main dish or snack.
