
Marinated Beef Dinner (Galbi)
Ingredients
- 1 lb beef short ribs
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 small onion grated
- 1 pear grated
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Soak the short ribs in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess blood, then rinse and drain.
- Mix soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, garlic, onion, pear, and black pepper in a bowl to make the marinade.
- Coat the short ribs with the marinade, cover, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight for best flavor).
- Grill or pan-fry the marinated beef on medium heat until cooked to your liking. Serve with rice and side dishes.
